Based in the Permian Basin. Built on safety, hard work, and doing things the right way.
Bluff Hydrovac (formerly Bluff Environmental) is a hydrovac excavation and CCTV pipeline inspection company based in Midland, Texas. We sit right in the middle of the Permian Basin, and we operate out of three locations across Texas and Tennessee.
Our approach is simple. Show up prepared. Work safe. Deliver what we promised. Every project gets the same attention, whether it is a single pothole on a pipeline right-of-way or a multi-week CCTV inspection program for a city.
We work with general contractors, pipeline companies, municipalities, and utility providers across the Permian Basin, South Texas, and the Nashville metro. Our people know this work because they do it every day.
Safety is not a policy. It is how we operate. Every crew member can stop work if conditions are not right. No exceptions.
We do what we say. Pricing is transparent, timelines are honest, and the work speaks for itself. If we make a mistake, we own it and fix it.
Good enough is not good enough. We invest in the best equipment, train our people right, and hold ourselves accountable for every job.
Every crew member is trained to work safe and has the authority to stop work if something is not right. Our people go home to their families every night. That is the point.
Everyone at Bluff has field experience. That is not a talking point. It is a hiring requirement.
Our founders and senior managers have operated the equipment, managed field crews, and built client relationships across every service we offer. They know the work because they came up doing it.
Our operators, technicians, and crew leads are the backbone of this company. Every person holds the certs their role requires, from CDL endorsements to confined space rescue.
Our PMs handle scheduling, logistics, and communication so every job starts on time and stays on budget. They keep things moving so the crews can focus on the work.
Our fleet includes late-model hydrovac trucks in multiple configurations. Compact units for tight urban sites. Full-size rigs with extended boom reach and high-capacity debris tanks. Every truck is on a strict preventive maintenance schedule and inspected before every dispatch.
Beyond the hydrovac units, we run:
When your project depends on the truck showing up and performing, you need a company that takes maintenance as seriously as the work itself. We do.
